Petronella McGovern landed on the Australian literary scene with a bang last year when her debut novel Six Minutes was published to critical acclaim. Variously described as “tight”, “addictive” “impossible to put down” and “thrilling”, Six Minutes had hit the right mark for Australian fiction readers - becoming an instant best-seller.

Fast forward to 2020 and Petronella has backed up her remarkable debut with her second novel, “The Good Teacher”. Another taut, tension filled, page-turning read which I simply could not put down.
