I'm a former corporate lawyer turned fiction writer, podcaster, presenter and moderator.

I live with my husband, three children and three needy cavoodles. I love reading and making connections with other Australian authors.

From time to time, I escape to my home away from home on the NSW South Coast.  It's there that I get to feed my creativity amongst some of the country's most talented artists.

In 2014, I was involved in a project aimed at shining a spotlight on seaweed as a sustainable, environmentally friendly and healthy food source.

The result was Coastal Chef: Culinary Art of Seaweed & Algae in the 21st Century (Harbour Publishing House, Ulladulla), launched in June 2014.

What an exhilarating foray into the publishing world it was!

But writing fiction is where my heart lies. To help me learn more about this space, I began Talking Aussie Books  back in 2018.  A podcast dedicated to connecting readers with their favourite Australian authors.  With more than 280 authors interviewed to date, I have become one of Australia's most recognisable, in-demand book podcasters.

I am also a founding executive member of the biennial Northern Beaches Readers Festival

In amongst podcasting fun, attendance at book launches, festivals and other bookish events, I am working on my debut novel - which I hope will be published in the not too distant future.

If you're keen to support the Australian publishing scene, then this podcast is perfect for you!

Focussing entirely on fiction titles written by Australian authors, you'll be surprised at the depth of talent right on our doorstep!

Featuring a stellar cast of Australian chefs, Coastal Chef presents a compelling, mouth-watering case for the habitual consumption of this versatile food of the future.
