HELLO, THANKS FOR STOPPING BY...
I'm a former corporate lawyer turned fiction writer, podcaster, presenter and moderator.
ā
I live with my husband, three children and three needy cavoodles. I love reading and making connections with other Australian authors.
ā
From time to time, I escape to my home away from home on the NSW South Coast. It's there that I get to feed my creativity amongst some of the country's most talented artists.
ā
In 2014, I was involved in a project aimed at shining a spotlight on seaweed as a sustainable, environmentally friendly and healthy food source.
The result was Coastal Chef: Culinary Art of Seaweed & Algae in the 21st Century (Harbour Publishing House, Ulladulla), launched in June 2014.
ā
What an exhilarating foray into the publishing world it was!
ā
But writing fiction is where my heart lies. To help me learn more about this space, I began Talking Aussie Books back in 2018. A podcast dedicated to connecting readers with their favourite Australian authors. With more than 280 authors interviewed to date, I have become one of Australia's most recognisable, in-demand book podcasters.
ā
I am also a founding executive member of the biennial Northern Beaches Readers Festival.
In amongst podcasting fun, attendance at book launches, festivals and other bookish events, I am working on my debut novel - which I hope will be published in the not too distant future.
